She serves clients in the educational, health services, legal, nonprofit and political sectors. Georgia’s top love is serving as a coach and thought partner for clients who are seeking new careers, reinventing themselves after retirement, or completing their dreams of publishing books, writing blogs or expanding their own companies. She helps clients get of their own way so they can use their voices to create positive change in the world.
Georgia served as the Chief Officer of Family and Community Engagement for the Denver Public Schools and the Chief Communication Officer in the Aurora Public Schools. She was a tenured professor at Santa Barbara City College and a graduate faculty member at Brooks Institute of Photography and Film. Georgia honed her skills while working with non-profit organizations, governmental agencies and media outlets with a focus on social justice and adult learning.
She is a founding member of the STRIVE charter school system and the Colorado Association of Latino/a Administrators and Superintendents (CO-ALAS). She was the president of the Colorado Association of School Public Relations and Vice Chair of CO-ALAS. She has served on more than 100 college, city and state boards on topics ranging from academic opportunity gaps to police recruitment to workforce development
Georgia is committed to enhancing leadership opportunities that are responsive to diverse community needs. She provides workshops, classes and speeches that are inclusive, engaging and collaborative. Topics include the following: self-talk and success, using a Growth Mindset to reach personal and professional goals, ethics and inclusion, creativity to share your voice for positive change, and using mindfulness to transform your dreams.
